Michelle Williams' Vocal Range: Destiny's Child Era [B2-C6]
Commonly referred to as "the other one" in the group, this video - compiled by myself for my "other" YT account - displays Tenitra, The Great's vast and very versatile vocal range using ONLY recordings and performances of her's whilst in the group.
This video does NOT feature solo recordings.
Michelle's range is also bigger than this (she has belted higher and gone much higher than C6 in head voice, but not whilst in Destiny's Child).
She has range but her high notes are all so raspy - Kelly and Beyoncé have better tonality imho.
Fair point. Her latest high notes are much clearer now. Over the years her technique has improved and she can belt F#5s with the utmost clarity and ease.
That F#5 was great But she has the tendency to go flat and sharp all over the place It's beautiful but I guess not many people can appreciate Tenitra's belting.
She has a good voice...but its a type of an extra voice if you know what I mean, we can't have it any more than 50% in a song, I'm not saying her voice is ugly, but it's not a 'friendly voice' lmao

She's amazing at harmonizing though..
Yeah I agree, technically great but from a tone perspective, slightly unfriendly. She has a huge range though.
About the DC3 comment, I believe that she is a perfect fit. She has a unique voice that is very suitable for the bridges, while Bee and Kelly sing the first and second verse. That's why I think Destiny Fulfilled is such a great album because it showcases DC3 at their best. And we've already known that her vocal is amazing
I've always appreciate her tone and the soul she brought to DC. Her lines in Survivor are my favorite part of the song. Is there a DC song where she's the lead vocalist?

Skip to 3:18...she sustains an F#5 at around 3:21
2:57-3:27 are GREAT, after that she was sharp and all over the place (until she took it down again), but understandable after hitting such notes!
Anyways, no one ever said she couldn't sing, she just didn't have the attitude or the dancing skills Kelly and Beyonce had.

She sounded a mess during most of the video. The only part good is 3:05 - 3:11

Not through the whole song. She leads the most on "2 Step", "If" and "Through With Love"
