The Voice UK ratings: 10.7 million watch final blind auditions, beats Britain's Got Talent
The Voice UK saw another huge increase to its audience last night, with 10.7 million viewers watching the final blind audition show.
It was a climb of over a million viewers on last week’s series high of 9.54 million, and up over two million on its debut last month.
It was the final blind auditions, and saw the coaches pick their last few acts, with tears and drama as Will.i.am became the last coach to complete his team of artists.
The Voice UK peaked with over 12 million viewers, and left Britain’s Got Talent 2012 trailing behind.
Although Simon Cowell’s rival did improve on last week, it was still well behind The Voice UK with 10.2 million viewers.
When the two shows clashed for 20 minutes between 8 and 8:20, the Voice had 11.8 million viewers to BGT’s 5.2 million.
The Voice UK 01x01 - 8.4 million viewers (Peak 9.8)
The Voice UK 01x02 - 8.9 million viewers
The Voice UK 01x03 - 9.54 million viewers (Peak 10.55)
The Voice UK 01x04 - 10.7 million viewers (Peak 12 +)
And it will follow the same pattern of The Voice US and drop in ratings soon.
This show is mostly watched for the entertainment of the blind auditions.
