What do you do to keep your iTunes tidy?

- Do you replace the singles from the album with their single covers but still keep them in the album?

- Do you have all of your faves single covers and singles or do you keep your albums whole?

-Everything has to have album covers
-Whenever there's a single out without an album, it will remain that way but when the album comes out, I delete the single.
-I make playlists (but I have none as of now. )
-I download albums only if they are good.

everything has an album cover, if i like the single cover id keep that, and i only download entire albums, even if its just for 1 song

I don't do single covers, no.

Everything is listed under the respective album unless the singe itself is all that's released, then it's just listed as the single w/ single artwork. Sometimes I'll have songs that don't get an official release so I make my own covers or find good covers elsewhere. Also, I don't list albums by track, everything is alphabetical. (idk) And when I have demos I still list them under the album they were recorded for or unreleased songs, I always put them in the nearest album release of the artist. And I also don't do greatest hits unless it's an oldie's artist. For instance, I have Britney Spears '3' listed with Circus b/c having one song under one album irritates TF out of me, especially greatest hits. P!nk's Raise Your Glass & ****in Perfect is listed under Funhouse. etc etc

- If I buy a single before the album comes out, I'll keep it as is until the album is released, then I'll rename it to be a part of the album and then change the cover, track listing, etc.

- Every song has to have something in the album section. If it was a promo single that didn't make it onto the album, I'll keep it as "Name of song - single"

- Every song must have an album/single cover

- Features on songs have to be labeled as: "Name of main artist - 'Song Title' (feat. Artist name)"

- I can't have the same album appear twice. This usually happens when I try to change a single version of a song and try to lump it with the album when it releases.

My iTunes is complete mess. I wish I had the time and patience to organize it.

Alright, here goes:

- I retype the title of the song to have it all capitalized; it just looks better in Visualizer mode to have the title in precedence. Plus I transfer the '(feat.)' to the Artist bar.

- Wikipedia, even though it's already been proven time and time again to feature accurate information, is a great tool to fill in those bars.

- I ALWAYS use single covers, UNLESS the artist's album has spawned 2 (for albums with 8-11 tracks), 3 (12-15) or 4 (for the Young Money gang's collection) hits.

- Extended album versions would replace the singles (i.e. OTF).

I leave it blank.

I put Unreleased. Then make an album cover just for the unreleased songs.

I'm an unorganised person so my iTunes is a mess.

I'm a little OCD with how everything looks...but it would be nice if I didn't get distracted easily. It's taken me months/years to get everything in order. I have a **** load of music. They all have to have album covers no matter how ugly it is. I don't even bother with playlists tho. Only if I'm going to put it on my ipod.

Do you guys use the single covers on singles but keep them in the album they're from?

Everything has to be perfect for my last.fm to look good so

Whenever I get singles, I have them as for example "Skyscraper - Single" untill the album comes, then it's just a part of the album.

But One Direction has B-Sides so I delete the single that is on the album, but keep the B-Side to it's EP or - Single.

It's all flawless.

For featuring songs I put 'Main artist ft. featuring artist' instead of having it in the title.

I try to use HQ 600 x 600 album covers from iTunes or official sites only.

I try to rate every song, mostly from 3-5. Few songs have a 2 star rating and none have 1 star. I'm always stuck with what to rate intros & interludes.

I don't keep unreleased tracks for the sake of not having an album cover. But I made an 'Unreleased' album & cover just for my fave.
