It's never too late to promote. As for too late to help the single sales much, maybe, but not for the album. He will need to promote along the way for that too.

I don't know. If you saw that video teaser he just played, it looks like a hardcore blend of JT and Michael Jackson. Gold clothes and iconic shots.
