Quote:
Lasers, first of all: "They're a childhood dream. It's the only thing on which I insisted." The lights illuminate the scene, they play with the notes. But who's mainly playing is Tiziano Ferro. His return to the stage - his first concert since his coming out in 2010 on the pages of Vanity Fair - was embraced in Turin by 10,000 fans (and tonight again). Tiziano does not hold back any effort. He appears with a "Houdini-like magic trick" and begins the parade of old and new hits, from "Sere nere" to "La differenza tra me e te", from "Perdono" to "Rosso relativo".
The music, song after song, melts away the anxiety. That of an artist deeply affected by the two workers who died while building the stages of Jovanotti and Laura Pausini. "When it happened to Lorenzo, for me it was a tragedy: I worked with the same group. When it happened again with Laura I went into a deep crisis. I wondered if it was appropriate to return to the stage."
In the end, Ferro overcame his fears. Including the fears of getting back in touch with his audience. "I thought that life as an artist could not coincide with a private one. When I admitted to myself that they could coincide, then I started to feel better. Now I enjoy it more."
