Madonna beats Elvis Presley record

Madonna has scored her twelfth Number One in the Official UK Albums Chart with 'MDNA', and breaks a UK album record held by Elvis Presley.
The Queen Of Pop has now overtaken The King as the solo artist with the most Number One albums in the UK, according to the Official Charts Company.
Madonna’s twelfth studio album has seen her collaborating with top flight dance producers including William Orbit, LMFAO and Benny Benassi. 'MDNA' beat its closest rival, David Guetta's 'Nothing But The Beat', in the chase for the top spot by a comfortable 34,000 copies.
Elsewhere, Emelie Sande climbs up one place to Number Three with 'Our Version Of Events'. Adele’s '21' is also up one place, and The Voice judge, Jessie J, climbs a massive eighteen places from Number 23 to this week’s Number Five with her debut album 'Who You Are'.
