Now anyone, discuss this madness. Do you actually think about how others may see it, or how it may be successful because of others (Not MDNA, just any album or song in general), or do you just assume that your opinion is the worlds' opinion and that when you dislike something, it will flop?

I don't think it has to be used literally. It's just a general term for fail. It can be subjective opinion or mean lack of success. It can also be relative.
