if you haven't followed j.k. rowling closely, you should know that she always swore the harry potter series wouldn't be going to ereaders because she didn't want to take away the feeling of holding a book, turning pages, etc. she's a very traditional author in that sense. however, because she sees the potential for reaching an entirely new audience and making the series even more accessible, it has finally happened. the books are available in ePub format so all major ereaders are supported.

I just bought the series in paperback.

I'm not going to purchase another copy of a book I own a physical copy of. I've had the series on my nook simple touch for ages anyway.

Read them! The books are actually short, the print is large and spread out, so the thickness really isn't an issue at all. They are actually a really quick read for anyone above the age of 12.



And this is slightly off topic but I can't at these ebooks being overpriced like this. It's not just Harry Potter either. An ebook should not cost more than a paperback. The ebooks should be 5 dollars for the shorter ones and like 7 for the last ones.
