Killing of Iraqi Woman in San Diego Draws Global Condemnation Online

It does, but the intent has to be proven. For all we know, someone who knew her could've killed her and left the note as a distraction. The note itself isn't evidence enough. Hopefully the authorities handling the case aren't as incompetent as the people who initially handled the Trayvon Martin case so that the killer is found and properly charged.
I don't think I'm saying anything outrageous. There's literally no other evidence right now aside from the note, and there were no witnesses. I never said it's definitely not a hate crime. But I'll stop before this thread is derailed, because in the end a mother is still dead, and it's a tragedy.
