LA tries to keep its airwaves 'crack ho' and '****' free
Sorry Rush, but the days of saying "****" on the airwaves may be over - at least in Los Angeles. City Council members passed a resolution today making the City of Angels's airwaves a racist and sex-slur free zone.
LA becomes the first city in the country to adopt such a resolution, which demands that media companies do "everything in their power to ensure that their on-air hosts do not use and promote racist and sexist slurs." The resolution comes in the wake of the uproar that ensued when a couple of KFI 640 AM talk show jocks called Whitney Houston a "crack ho" three days after she died in February, as well as Limbaugh's labeling of Georgetown Law student Sandra Fluke as a "****."
They really called a legend a "crack hoe" he should get fired for such blasphemy. Only Howard Stern has the power to say that and even then it's a stretch.
