I always liked the vibe of this version. Not as driven and anthemic as the final, but nice and soothing.

The new lyrics were major improvements though.

Kelly should've used this instrumental. I love it.

I like the instruments and arrangement.. but I like the anthemic version Kelly did better. And Kelly's vocals.. good lord. Lyric changes were for the best too.

In a recent interview, she said they had another singer come in to sing the demo.

I loved the song when I heard this demo. I hoped it would be on the album but I was decided to keep this song if there wouldn't a Kelly Clarkson version. Of course the Kelly Clarkson version is way better.

Kelly didn't write anything. The final changes happened when one of the other producers came on-board.

She certainly did. Ali even said it in an interview.

The good sis, Kelly, doesn't ask for writing credits like other pop stars, though. She knows that it's some people's bread and butter, and she'd never take that away from anyone.
