I know we've talked about straight guys leading us on, but have any of you ever lead a girl on?
Lesbians, you can answer, too. Have ever lead a straight guy on?
While I have everyone here, straights, you guys can chime in, too. Have you guys ever lead a lesbian or guy gay on?
If so, why? To see if you could do it, or was it unintentional?
Let's discuss this anomaly.

I have been lead on by straight guys, and sadly have lead woman on.
So far I've come down to it being the simple fact that attention just feels nice. Whether or not you want the person doesn't make the attention and feeling of being wanted any less awesome or intoxicating.
It's super empowering, albeit horrible to know that you have complete control of someones romantic and/or sexual emotions. Regardless of sex or sexuality, it's fun to be wanted and know you're in control.
I would say in most cases, myself included, the majority of the people are doing it unintentionally though.

Wow, I never thought about it like that. I'll be thinking about this everytime I'm around someone who flirts with me now.
Thanks for answering.

I've led people on and I've been led on before. It's human nature.
Truthfully, I do enjoy the attention sometimes; whether it's from a guy or girl. I like knowing that I can flirt with a girl and make her like/want me, while knowing that I would never actually do anything with her. It's never caused any harm. It's more so just playful flirting.
But I do hate being led on by straight and/or bi-curious guys. While they may see it as just being playful, I have been emotionally hurt by straight guys before. But it's my fault for believing that you can change somebody's sexuality.

Nope. Or if I have, I've been blissfully unaware.

I lead on a straight guy once. He was a friend of my ex-boyfriend and one day I was in a bar/club with my friends and I saw him there (super wasted). Anyway, he and I live in the same area of the city. We both hitched a ride in the same cab and while we were in it, he asked me if I'd like to come over to his place to drink some more and I said Yes ( )....and stuff happened, and my then boyfriend broke up with me the next day, and ...yeah

I know that's ****ing true!
When they flirt, I allow myself to go along with it. It seems so surreal for some reason until you realize they're not here for the ****.
With girls, tho, I don't flirt. Not consciously anyway. I tend to avoid girls. I've been doing ever since 8th grade. Some lady (who's clearly in her 40's) always hits on me everytime I walk into her store.

I do the same thing. I see it as nothing more than a meaningless flirting opportunity, but I almost always end up getting emotionally attached. And the realization that they aren't here for me is too much.
I was the same way with girls when I first realized that I was gay. I had "dated" girls before, but it wasn't sexual at all. But now that I'm extremely comfortable with being gay, I'll flirt with anybody who will flirt back. Everybody deserves the attention. Death at old people hitting on you, too. I always get the soccer moms hitting on me at work.

I'd lead on my momma if I had to.

I'm just a flirtatious person.

Yes I have. I like the attention. Though, It's rare and it usually backfires. It seems that I only get the creepy girls that become obsessed with me. Plus, its pretty obvious that I'm gay, so...

Those desperate housewives want that young cack, sis.
But it's nice that you can just flirt with whoever, but I just don't feel right about leading girls on because they seem to take it harder once they realize what's up.
As for guys and getting emotionally attached, we're gay. It happens. It'd be nice if the guy flirting actually turned out to be gay once in awhile, tho.

Well, this happened like 3-4 years ago. He and I had a thing for a while after the incident (secretly) but it kind of fizzled out in the end 'cus he moved to a different city. Last I've heard of him: he's got a fiance.

No, I hate games. Just be straight up 'cause I'll be pissed as hell if I find out you're just ****in' with my emotions for ***** and giggles.
