I'm not equating Kelly with anything like that here, but that's a questionable line of reasoning. Political views can have a lot of implications.

I understand your point, but there are alot of people on this site who love to contradict themselves when it's convenient.
Unless Kelly
openly made a statement that she was in proposition to repeal the act making segregation unconstitutional, I would have nothing against her. But there are too many people on this site that have this thought process:
"Democrats are our saviors, everything they say or do is beneficial to society and Republicans are evil, sick, destructive people who hate freedom".
And if you feel that way, you have freedom to do so, but it's not far to assume somebody's view on a particular issue based on the party they associate with. I'm assuming the stigmatization on ATRL is due to the fact that the general consensus of Republican ideology is to uphold only traditional marriage. For anyone to base their entire disdain for an organization on one, miniscule issue is just...
But my point is, I consider myself a liberal, but that doesn't mean I agree with everything Obama does. Therefore, whether Kelly did or did not vote for Ron Paul, doesn't reflect her views on gay marriage. And her voting for Obama doesn't necessarily have her personal views set in stone either.
