If you've been a member here for awhile, you've probably been thinking to yourself, "Damn, Alice DeeJay is not discussed very often on ATRL, and I haven't a clue why. 'Better Off Alone' is the most spectacular song of 1999."

So, let's talk about this GLOBAL PHENOMENON, Alice DeeJay, who, in actuality was not an Alice, or a DJ, or a single person. Specifically, let's talk about the singles - one of which you possibly-maybe remember, and the other four which you've never heard, or possibly heard once when you were 8 and you lived in the UK/Sweden/The Netherlands/various EU territories.



That bleepy synth riff in "Better Off Alone" is pretty spectacular.



"Back in My Life" and "Will I Ever?" have incredible pop appeal.





"YOU DOON'T HAAF TO BEEEE THE LONELY WA-ONE!"



The gospel choir was completely necessary.

Better Off Alone brings back memories. I remember listening to it on my very first portable CD player.

Better Off Alone defined my pre-school years.

I thought he only had one song.

The "successful period" for Alice DeeJay lasted longer than this thread.
