I don't call myself a stan. I'm a huge fan of several artists and I buy their albums and follow their careers, but I'm not overly fanatical about it. I find defending my favourite artists pointless. What is there to prove? People are subjective, and it's always been that way. I can't change anyone's opinion, so why bother. It doesn't matter. As long as I enjoy the artist, that's what matters.
