It's been pretty damn cold in the Netherlands lately, so the Dutch go crazy about the famous Eleven Cities Tour in the north (a huge tour on the frozen canals and lakes) and more. The tour didn't go through, the ice wasn't 15 cm thick everywhere, so it was to dangerous to continue.
But plenty of places in the Netherlands got ice thicker than 15cm, so people went ice skating!
It's always fun to see, but Amsterdam is a weird sight. Watching people party, skate, play and walk over the canals instead of the streets!
Here's some amazing pics I wanted to share with you guys
It's probably been the last day this all is possible by the way. Temperatures are above 0 C again so the ice is melting away, fast!
I ****ing hate snow, ice and everything that is cold. The weather has been a big ass mess as of lately, I'm happy that it's finally getting a little bit warmer.

Me too. I had an exam one week ago, but couldn't get to school in time because of NS and this ****** weather. Can't wait for summer.
That sucks. Often I have to wait till the next Metro because it's too full. The OV is such a mess when there's snow Could you still take the exam though?

It's snowing again as I'm typing
In about a month I can do the exam again, so it's not that bad.
