You may or may not know them.. but after SNL, it's possible that you will.
Karmin is a girl-and-boy duo and engaged couple of Amy & Nick.
Amy is a singer, and she also raps.. Nick does a few background vocals and plays A LOT of instruments.
They have done YouTube covers for a long while and have grabbed over 177.9 MILLION views, total.
Now a few months ago, their debut single, 'Crash Your Party', was released.. and sadly didn't get too much attention. It stuck around the lower parts of the iTunes top 1000 for the longest time, and still is near the same area.
But now, they are going to be on Saturday Night Live THIS SATURDAY, the 11th.. and since they're not really known.. do you think that SNL will make them successful?
They will be performing their second single, 'Brokenhearted', and a "surprise" song (hopefully Crash Your Party..)
I think they would have been more known if the dude sang in the songs. I do love "Broken Hearted" but it does sound a lot like what Katy and Jessie J are putting out. Having the guy sing on the track would have set them apart somewhat within the music scene.
I do think this may get them some attention. I can see BH being a lot more successful than CYP. I'm not sure if this will catapult them into stardom though.
