Report: Madonna's 'W.E' Flops at Box Office

Madonna's directorial debut 'W.E.' failed to chart in the Top 10 of the UK Box Office in its opening weekend.
The drama, which has attracted mixed reviews from critics, took only £182,914 from 172 screenings since its opening on Friday, January 20.
Steven Spielberg's 'War Horse', meanwhile, managed a second week at the top of the rankings as it raked in another huge £3.2 million, down only slightly on its £3.9 opening last week.
The highest new entry is thriller 'Haywire', which debuts at No. 2 with £1.2 million taken. 'Underworld: Awakening' bows at No. 3 ith £1.1m.
The other new entry in the Top 10 is 'The Sitter', which debuts at No. 6.
'J. Edgar', starring Leonardo DiCaprio, joins 'W.E.' outside the upper end of the list, as it makes its debut at a disappointing No. 12.
