I have to watch + write a report on a French film for school, any Frenchies on here who can recommend a good film? Or anyone who knows a good French film

It about a city taken over by crime. It's rather good!

I don't like french movies so I can't help you.

But you should try "Belle De Jour", I've never watched it but it seems like a good movie,plus Catherine Deneuve is in it.

If you really want to impress him, analyze The 400 Blows. It's the film that started the French New Wave, and is regarded as one of the best.

I absolutely love foreign films
Another French film (albeit a short one) I enjoyed was La Jetee. Its what 12 Monkeys is based off of. I also saw Ne le dis a personne if you want a mystery thriller

If you want a good horror movie, ILS is really good. It's very similar to The Strangers

I looked the plot of that one up when I saw someone tweet about it.... i am such a baby with scary films that I think I'm going to leave it XD

Watch Cache! It's a French film that deals with voyeurism in a very neat way. It's not scary (just a little tense), and it's one of the best films I've ever seen!
