Rihanna and Cheryl Cole are set to record a single together in Los Angeles this coming week, according to reports.
The pair, who have been close friends since last year's BRIT Awards, are said to be hooking up in the studio in Los Angeles.
A source told the Daily Star: "Cheryl’s flown to LA to put the finishing touches to her album and is due to meet Rihanna to record their duet.
“It’s been a long time coming and something both their management teams have been trying to arrange. But with their busy schedules and Rihanna’s tour dates, they haven’t been able to until now.”
Rihanna has previously admitted that she has a "girl crush" on Cheryl, who is expected to release her latest solo album this year.
The Girls Aloud star has been working with a host of big names on the follow-up to 2010's 'Messy Little Raindrops', including Eminem collaborator Alex Da Kid.
I dont know how i feel about this, as much as i love Cheryl Rihanna is going to overshadow her so badly up to the point where it wont be recognized as her track!! but i guess we have to wait and see for the final outcome

How HILARIOUS and IRONIC coming from someone who stans for nicole scherzinger who keeps promoting her ass off and even landed herself as a judge on X factor USA yet noone gave a **** and will continue to do so no matter how much she tries to shove herself down their throats. Cheryl hasn't even released a single in the USA yet it seems more people like her than nicole.
