It's difficult to choose the best female album of the 2000s decade, but Britney most definitely had the biggest mark on pop music during that time period.
EDIT: I misunderstood the thread. My favorite album of the bunch is either Confessions or Good Girl Gone Bad, while either Confessions, The Fame, or, in some ways, Good Girl Gone Bad left the biggest mark on pop culture.
In The Zone, Loose and Blackout were the most influential albums for pop music in terms of influencing the dance scene and progressing the dance scene forward. I would argue Loose had more success but I do think Toxic was a turning point in making radio more daring by playing dance music.
Then you could say Gaga and BEP reaped the benefits from those records the most with their dance sounds. Stripped didn't really influence anything as it, itself was influenced by other confessional albums like Misunderstood, Let Go and the Dairy Of Alicia Keys. Christina wasn't doing anything new there. I fail to see what the Dutchess impacted in pop music. I would have chosen LAMB over The Dutchess if you had to choose between the two. Madonna was such a non-entity in the pop world when 2005 came around that Confessions was stifled from having any true impact in the US, even though it was huge internationally. Although you could say that Hung Up was a hit and the album sold respectably well for that time period and no radio support for it.
