If Warner Music Group artists (Bruno Mars, Jason Derulo Linkin Park etc..) join VEVO, it will happen a lot sooner.



Not bad when the music industry used to look at Music Videos as a promotion expense and were willing to write it off as a loss. Now thanks to the internet, MVs is making some serious money for the music industry.

VEVO sucks. It ain't all available in my country

If you want to use VEVO outside the United States, download Hotspot Shield. It changes your IP address to a U.S. one, and then you can use it whenever you like. Most artists have their own VEVO channel through YouTube anyway.

Vevo is not available in my country as a whole. I only watch Vevo videos from Youtube. So basically A lot aren't available in my country via youtube as well which sucks I can't even download them. The link is expired

Hell yeah me too ! I live in Germany and seriously 97% of the videos are blocked for Germany and it sucks like hell

It's not VEVO.

It's GEMA who is blocking MVs on Youtube.

Most MVs should be viewable worldwide. Except in Germany due to GEMA blocking Youtube MV.

Basically, most if not all NEW MV should be viewable on youtube through VEVO.
Older MVs: VEVO might not hold the copyrights. Someone in your country has it and that organization doesn't allow it to be viewed through Youtube/VEVO.

VEVO only available in USA, Canada and UK. In 2012, it will expand but only to a few countries that offer good ad revenue.

It cost millions of dollars to set up office. Hire Ad, Sales, Managers etc...

Vevo should be available worldwide NOW.
It sucks on YouTube and you can't watch the Vevo videos (that are on YT) from your mobile, iPad, etc.
