After more than 6 years since her last studio album (excluding her greatest hits and Christmas album), country star Faith Hill is set to return early in 2012! Rumor has it that her album, titled Illusion, will be released February 28, 2012. Since there hasn't been an official announcement yet, I figured it'd be safer to call this an anticipation thread.

Faith has also stated that the album will be reminiscent of her 2002 album Cry.
The lead single, a cover of OneRepublic's "Come Home," was debuted in early November at the CMAs. Faith will also be performing the single at the People's Choice Awards January 11.

Are yall ready for the return of one of country's queens?
Her debut album was released like 3 months after I was born; I've essentially been listening to her for my entire life. In fact, my oldest music related memory is of the song This Kiss.
I'm listening to Faith right now; it was my favorite album when I was little.

I tweeted a USA Today journalist who commonly covers Taylor Swift asking if he could confirm if the album would be called Illusion, released 2/28/12. He replied:

@JakeKills Seeing lots of reports to that effect, but don't have any independent confirmation.
Why would you want to forget Mississippi Girl? It's one of her catchiest, most infectious, radio-friendly tunes to date. Not to mention the fact that her vocals absolutely slay.
So excited to see a thread for the Country-Pop/Adult Contemporary Queen. I heard her new album is going to be titled Illusion, at least that's what it says on her Wikipedia page.
I wonder if this new album is going to be akin to "4". Faith got so much **** from country purists for releasing "Cry" and although there wasn't a shred of country to be found--with the exception of the lovely 'Stronger'--I think it's her best album to date. She certainly sounded incredible on it.
I don't know if any of y'all have seen this video. It's part of a five minute standing ovation that Faith received after singing Stronger, during one of her concerts in Winnipeg, Manitoba. I'm not surprised, she hits a huge glory note whenever she sings this song live.
