According to this thread : Piracy is a reason that sales of the current albms are lower than the album of the past decades.... And piracy will NOT stop..... This is crazy.. How much sales are we going to see in the next years ?? 1m max ??

yearly sales: in the coming years will reach an alltime low in 2014/2015 and after that rebounce at a very low level.

2011: 320 million
2012: 293 million (-8,43%)
2013: 275 million (-6,14%)
2014: 261 million (-5,09%)
2015: 260 million (-0,38%)
2016: 263 million (+1,15%)
Well a lot of well-established country girls who can sell albums are releasing next year and a lot of other stable album sellers. Also were going to have albums released late this year selling through out 2012 to.. I think we'll see close to or maybe even more album sales next year then what we saw this year.

Most of these ' Stable album-sellers' are the artists with LOYAL FANBASE...
