X Factor UK winner Leona Lewis also announces today that she is scheduled to perform on the finale of X Factor US on 12/22. She will be performing her hit single "Run," which is currently available on iTunes and Leona has been in the studio finishing her forthcoming third studio album Glassheart, set for release next year.
Run has more impact live than Hurt, and the Hurt EP is only for die hard fans who need something to tide them over until the album so it doesn't really need promoting.
whats the point of singing an old song? If she's got nothing new to plug then she shouldnt be on. Simon just letting his self interest dictate again. Like having those has beens Westlife on UK finale. They should have big new relevant acts in the final!

the whole point of having star guests is to draw viewers. US viewers will not be drawn in by Leona. Sorry they wont. Even Rihanna or Perry would be better. Simon needs to start doing whats good for the show not his own interests and label acts.
