Maybe he was a good leader. I mean, we barely know anything about North Korea. Look at China, it has been in communism for the past century and who's the booming market now? North Koreans may be left off the world but I'm sure they were taught well.

I know South Korea well.

South Korea is a well developed place already. Not all dictators are bad leaders. Well in my country it wasn't. Marcos was a dictator but he was a great leader as well. And people here are now realizing how good their lives were inside the Martial Law Marcos instated. That's just my comment tho since I see all of you think that North Korea is such a mess

every country has its problems. As soon as a dictator loses power then the entire government becomes unstable. Unless there are people who are ready to take the place as a new leader.

Corruption runs rampant in cases like this, with various groups trying to get control of the political system. After Marcos, the Filipino people have had scandal after scandal with their Presidents. Has Imelda given back the 12 million pesos to the government yet?
