Should Nicki Minaj have kept 'Saxon' for herself?
With a "Roman-esqe theme" for this sophmore should she have kept &revamped her song instead of giving it to Rihanna?

It wasn't her song. It was a demo for Rihanna.
But yes, she should have kept it for herself. Saxon > Red Lipstick.

Saxon it's the name of dubstep'ish beat which Chase & Status made. Nicki used it to record her demo to Rihanna back in 2009, before Rated R came out.
