Half the critics liking it and half hating it doesn't mean the movie is getting "dragged" its just getting mixed reviews. Her performance can still be a stand out in the film enough for her to get major award nominations.

I thought they dragged her performance when I read the thread title - she's still in the running for the Oscar though.

Even her performance is not mind-blowing, apparently. There were high expectations for this film, with the Golden Globe nomination and all. The Golden Globes are all about the hype and not the quality, though.
