Barbara Walters to Kardashians: "You don't have any talent!"

'You don't have any talent!': Barbara Walters grills Kim Kardashian about fame and sex tape during 10 Most Fascinating People special
They may have made her list of 10 Most Fascinating People of 2011, but Barbara Walters showed the Kardashians no mercy as she interviewed the famous reality family for the TV special. The veteran journalist, 82, took a swipe at the family for finding fame and fortuned without 'any talent' as she sat down with Kim, 31, Kourtney, 32, Khloe, 27, and their mother Kris Jenner, 56.
Walters also grilled Kim about the X-rated tape she made with hip-hop star Ray-J in 2007 that helped launch her into the spotlight. She asked: 'So was it a good thing to have done?' It proved to be an awkward moment, with Kim clearly a little rattled at being caught off guard. 'Whatever you do, you might think...' Kim, 31, she stammered, trailing off. She then said: 'I've made mistakes in my life for sure.'
Her mother and manager quickly went into damage control mode, offering to Kim: 'You learned a lot from that.' Jenner went on to describe the experience as 'devastating' for the family, adding that she cried herself to sleep at night over it. However, Kim's 72-day marriage to Kris Humphries was not discussed - the interview was recorded in September before the couple's split.
Walters candidly quizzed the family about how they were able to stay in the spotlight.
'You don't really act; you don't sing; you don't dance,' Walters said. 'You don't have any - forgive me - any talent!'
Khloe was the first to chime in, saying: 'We're still entertaining people. Kim continued: 'I think it's more of a challenge for you to go on a reality show, and get people to fall in love with you for being you,' Kim mused. Then Khloe added: 'None of us think we have talent. none of us think we can sing or act or dance.'
Khloe was also asked about criticism she has received on the internet, with some cruelly comparing her to Shrek and called an ogre (   ). 'The Internet can be so negative... I’m over it now, I own who I am, and I have the best husband of in the world,' she said. Khloe and her husband Lamar Odom are now set to move states after his transfer to the Dallas Mavericks.
Apple owner Steve Jobs, who died in October at 56, topped the list while Amanda Knox, Herman Cain, Donald Trump, Derek Jeter, Simon Cowell, Modern Family stars Eric Stonestreet and Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Pippa Middleton and Katy Perry were also included.

I read that on a another site. I wish she never gave them a interview to begin with, she also said they can't be trusted. The Kardashian family is vile.

You don't need to have talent to make money. Like I said, The Kardashians may be untalented, but they're certainly not stupid. Nobody making as much money as they do, is stupid. I applaud them, actually.

I just don't get how people can bother watching them.
Kim has a new face every year, Kourtney has a monotone Ben Stein voice, Khloe's built like a refrigerator. I mean, what is it?

Exactly.
I'm sure this family has made at least 10-15 million this year from their reality shows, TV appearances, the wedding, product endorsements, magazine cover, and commercials. I don't think they really give a **** what anybody is saying about them. If I were them, I certainly wouldn't.
