There comes a point when you can no longer ignore an artist. Adele excepted, LMFAO have had the most popular music of 2011 since Summer. People just can't ignore it - it's everywhere. Their songs are so huge that even their basic videos are flirting with the 200M mark. They have their own stupid, goofy, distinct party sound and image that's easy to brand and market (remember when Animal debuted with over 150K to everyone's shock?).
