CAN she make a comeback? But more importantly, staying true to her roots, like she did in Sale El Sol and not conforming to the current scene?

Shakira's so loveable and appealing to a wide audience, I don't see why she couldn't make a comeback with the right material and promo.

She needs to make a comeback to show these basic pop lessors of today how it's done. She is a true artist, performer and humanitarian.

She's currently sitting pretty at #1 on the Top Concert Films chart on iTunes, beating the likes of Beyoncé, Gaga and Justin Bieber. This, to me, looks like the seed for the growth of her relevance and success of what's soon to come next year.

some of her sounds are latin sounding but loca was just too loco and too latin for the evolving tastes of the general american market.

I wouldn't call it a comeback because she has been in the market for 3 consecutive years.... She could be more SUCESSFUL in USA if she works with the right people and promotes well..... lets saturate America..

You must mean to the US... yes. It's easy to get a hit in the US. Just be pretty and use very little actual singing in the song.

I don't think it's likely but it doesn't matter because she's so successful everywhere else. She could probably still have success here as a featured act on a single or two though.
