Discussion: Do you still buy physical CDs?

Now that were in a digital era it almost seems close to pointless. Plus given the fact that I have an ipod buying physical albums seems unnecessary and nothing but a waste of money, it's 2011...who still ****s with CD players? exactly. They're nice to have if you're collecting when it comes to your fav. artists but I simply can't be bothered.

I buy from itunes and illegal downloads.

Last physical album I bought was Diddy's 'Press Play' which I regretted.

If I'm going to buy an album, I want to be able to hold it tenderly in my arms. Unless it's Talk That Talk, then I want to be able to throw it across the room.

Yes. I'm not a big fan of buying whole albums on iTunes - the first and last one I bought there was Christina's Bionic.

I only buy physical CDs. The only time I buy a digital copy is if I'm supporting one of my faves so I'll buy a physical & digital.

I was originally going to buy the physical copy for BTW and swore by that long before the album came out but still end up purchasing a digital copy from itunes.

I love music. Ever since I was kiddy, I was always giddy about buying CDs.
Holding the booklet, Looking at the CD art, Reading the liner notes, etc...
Plus, I'm neurotic and I have to rip them in the highest quality.

and of course Circus

These are the ONLY physical copies I ever own.

I have a physical copy of Christina's debut cd, but I didn't buy it though. I think my mom won it as a prize from a raffle draw at the mall. It was a long time ago, 1999.

I don't ever plan on buying actual albums on iTunes. Doesn't make sense to me. I alway buy physical.

I buy physical copies of Taylor Swift albums; and next year I'll also be buying Shania and Faith's new albums physically as well...

My parents are so dumb though. Thry had a 200+ CD collection accumulated over the past 20 years; they took out the discs and threw away all these cases. The dumb part is that THEY STILL BUY PHYSICAL COPIES AND THEN THROW AWAY THE CASES.

Luckily, I saved the cases for all of my favorite albums.
