Twitter has revealed what its most popular trending topics were over the last year.
Top of the music list are Rebecca Black and Friday, after the video for the singer's debut single was viewed more than 160 million times on YouTube.
Rapper Nate Dogg, who died in March, was placed second in the category on the social networking site.
Femme Fatale, the title of Britney Spears's most recent album, was also in the top five.
The record featured the singer's comeback single Hold It Against Me, along with Criminal and Til The World Ends.
Elizabeth Taylor, who died in March, was Twitter's most talked-about actress of the year, followed by Black Swan actress Mila Kunis.
Natalie Portman, Jennifer Lopez and One Day actress Anne Hathaway also featured in the top 10.
Charlie Sheen was the most discussed actor, after his high-profile sacking from Two And A Half Men.
Sheen was replaced in the American sitcom by Ashton Kutcher, who was placed eighth in the category.
Ricky Gervais, Jake Gyllenhaal and 30 Rock star Tracy Morgan were some of the other most talked-about actors.
The Dark Knight Rises and X Men: First Class were two of the most popular films on the site, but were beaten to the top spot by superhero film Thor.
Twitter also announced the most discussed technology terms of 2011.
iPad, iPhone, Guitar Hero and Nintendo 3DS were some of the most popular topics.
The company have also revealed the most talked-about news stories of the year.
Last week, 2011's most searched-for celebrities were revealed by Bing, AOL and Yahoo.
Justin Bieber had the highest number of web searches this year, beating last year's winner Kim Kardashian, who came second.
