YAAAS @ this thread. Easily the best of singers born in the 90s and she's capable of so much greatness vocally.
The Amy and Aaliyah covers in detroit really were her best she's ever sounded. It's crazy how her voice has changed though. When she was younger, she used to be the kween of the Eb5 and E5s and her belting was effortless while her lower range was shaky. Now her lower-mid range is incredible and so much more raspy and huskier than before, but we haven't seen her belt that high for some time. She even struggles with the high note on Disaster which is the same note she used to ease past (and it was longer) on Leave. I hope it's just bc her voice is still changing.
This Marvin's Room performance >>>>>>>>>>>. Her vocals, attitude and the way she teased the crowd with the swearing was amazing.
I was at her Hard Rock Detroit performance where she did the Amy Winehouse and Aaliyah covers. She was incredible that whole night. Never even came close to missing a note. My jaw dropped during "You Know That I'm No Good."
