Yes, of course. Her music is great and she's not annoying. Although I can understand the main reason why she's not relevant now, since her album right now doesn't really have anymore US-friendly songs.

I think she's already quite iconic, just not that relevant anymore. Kinda sad, tbh.

The US needs a pop queen to show the others how dancing is really done plus just the obvious fact that she brings a latin flair to her music that no other pop girl really has at the moment... its entirely different from JLo's and no other pop girl really attempts it

if only she could come out with another English Album and actually PROMOTE it.. i have no doubt it would slay.. honestly she needs to try out a new label

Honestly for me, she's the most talented female artist out there right now.
She's not full of herself - she's humble and doesn't forget where she came from. She's creative in her work, her videos, etc.

And honestly I think she didn't deserved that Latin Grammy Award for recognition. Enrique deserved it with no doubt. He's getting robbed lately

Are u kidding me? Does 22 Latin number 1 songs tell u something? He is indeed the biggest Latin singer in the world! 100 million records sold worldwide. Sold out tours. A great performer and a great writer!

hes ok and yes hes a star in the latin american countries... and most importantly hes BUT shakira really is the undisputed Latin monarch... she is such a big influence still despite being rather irrelevant lately..

Well, she still sells out shows in the US, does she not? She may not be number one on Billboard, but what does that matter? Everyone knows who she is. Her music just isn't US friendly.

SHe got thatg award not only for her 20 years in the music business but for her phillopnthropic work.

Enrique is successful(thanks in large to his last name) but Shakria has always been ahead of him in everything.

His last name has nothing do with his success. Cus if u know the history about him. He was signed with his first label with a different last name.

I don't hate shakira, I love her. But I just think Enrique deserved that award this year. And as I said, she needs a new style so she can do good in the US

But her songs get played a lot here on Spanish stations. Those stations play songs in Spanish, as well as songs in English by Spanish artists.

I would disagree. Sure the facts are there but Shakira has made much more of an impact, in all fields. Singer-songwriter for over 2 decades, numerous hits, dancer of course, and an insurmountable impact in philanthropic work.

Almost every artist we know does a bit of philanthropic work to tick the boxes, but Shakira dominates in this aspect.
