If these two were still alive how would the hip hop industry be different? Would they finally put their beef aside? Would they give in to the pop hip hop electro mess that's going on today(highly doubt it)? Would Biggie keep Bad Boy Records alive? What would be different?

One style isn't going to prevail forever. Dance music would have had its run regardless.

However, if these two were still around, I do think there would be a higher standard of lyricism in rap music.

They probably would be irrelevant like most other rappers of their generation are now.

Nothing would change. Things would have just evolved.

Biggie was trying to leave Bad Boy before he died anyways.

Instead of Snoop on Guetta beats Biggie would have been riding them joints.

Biggie and 2Pac have sold fairly well posthumously, so I'm not sure if they would be irrelevant like other rappers of their generations. After all Jay-Z is still very much relevant, and Snoop is still very visible, even if he's rapping over a Guetta or Dr. Luke song. They probably wouldn't be getting huge hits, but I could see them having success regardless. I guess we would never know.

And I seriously doubt Biggie would be rapping on one of those types of songs. Biggie was more of a lyricist than Snoop ever was.
