I see, you want to discuss the "Game of the Year". Well, I'm just excited for this new chapter of the elder scrolls. I haven't even beaten Oblivion yet, it was just too long. But likewise, I'm excited for this epic RPG. I like the idea that dragons will be part of it now and dual-wielding is possible too. Won't be getting it on 11-11-11 though cuz it will just alter my focus on studies. But will be playing it during the winter break, and I can't wait.

But I see why it's mostly PC players playing this: it keeps breaking on PS3. 360 is working fine but on PS3, the save file keeps getting bigger and bigger. Bethseda is working on it.

Well, I read comments saying it was tailor made for 360 but on the flipside, The Elder Scrolls' "master race" as they call it, is the PC. Just another fancy way of saying original platform.

I personally love the series to be enjoyable due to the freedom it gives you. Yeah, there is still a story line, but unlike most games you aren't stuck just doing the mail plot line.

I love having freedom in a game but it still has to be engaging and fun. My character has like NO back story so far. I don't even know why I do the things I do. Sure you can imagine all kinds of stuff about your character, but it's a single player game. If your character is only in your head, there's no point to the role playing aspect either.

Aside from that, I also really hate the controls, the inventory, choosing spells, etc. because it was so obviously designed for consoles rather than the far superior keyboard+mouse.

I haven't found much time to play, but I can honestly say Giants have been the most fun so far, even after dealing with dragons. I tried my hand at one around level 6 or 7 and it was pretty intense and even comical to see what happens when he lands a blow on you.
