Is Florence the Machine's sophomore worth it???? i tend to read reviews before giving an album a try and almost every review that i've read
has in one way or another pointed out that her music and voice are LOUD, one even compared her to Bjork . I love Bjork but i NEVER understand what she's saying and her voice is so PIERCING, i can't deal....
I'm really trying to broaden my music library...listen to artist not from the U.S.
i've tried and LOVED. Little Dragon, Duffy, Lykke Li etc..oh and you can KEEP Ms. Gordon..no bueno
Yes, the album is totally worth it. As for the Bjork comparisons, both women have powerful, distinctive voices that you either love or hate, but they in no way sound alike.
