Do you care when your fav pushes their album back?
I don't know if it's just me, but when I'm anticipating something I hate when it's postponed.
I know of artist who've pushed their album back 2 or 3 times. After awhile do you change your mind about buying it?
Does it make you anticipate it more?
An album being pushed back usually spells disaster for its outcome, so yes I would care very much as it would have me worried about the fate of the album.
Not really.
I get mad when some hoe pushes his album back which then makes them push theirs back onto the same day as the person with the current number one.
I also hate it when that said hoe pushes his album back onto the same day as his underdog label mate (I thought they were fam).
PUSHED BACK:
Leona Lewis- Glass Heart (underperforming lead single)
Cher- TBA (obviously not coming out in 2011 as intended)
Lionel Richie- Tuskegee (because he got sick; I'm only here for the Shania duet anyways)
Shania Twain- claims to be working on new material in 2007, doesn't release an album until 2012 at the earliest.
I've been waiting almost 6 years for No Doubt to put an album out. The whole entire time I've been a fan of them, they've only released one song, and it wasn't even a commercial single. But some people have been waiting almost 11 years now so ehh...
I hate push-backs just for the simple fact of it usually meaning an impending doom. There are a few exceptions -- Lil wayne, Drake, Kelly Clarkson -- who've released or are about to release push-backed albums with success, however most of the time it's needed to build more hype around the already stalling project.
