According to MadonnaTribe forum member londonfan30, the event is already confirmed for July 2012 and is part of a series of Live Nation produced events pre-olympics, expected to be announced in December with tickets going on sale then too.
Back in February, it was announced that Live Nation UK was appointed as event organiser and promoter of London's four festival sites during the 2012 Olympic Games - Hyde Park, Victoria Park, Trafalgar Square and Potters Fields Park - with the rights to stage concerts and offer hospitality packages, food and drink concessions and merchandising opportunities.

Madonnas has lived plenty of her life in the limelight. The singer, who is in her 50s, broke into the music scene during the 80s with hit songs such as “Borderline” and “Live To Tell.” Controversy often surrounded the starlet, who sang openly of the experience of sexual exploration and innocence lost with her song “Like a Virgin.”
Her stage shows often garnered a lot of negative attention, as she would wear provocative costumes and grind the stage. She continued on her road to fame during the later part of the decade and early 90s with hits like “Justify My Love,” “Hanky Panky,” “The Power of Goodbye,” and “Broken.”
The superstar began a slow evolution toward more spiritual living after the birth of her daughter Lourdes. She has more than 300 million albums across the globe and remains one of the most popular musical performers in the world.
