Nina Simone's rendition of "I Love You, Porgy" is, in my honest opinion, the song's best rendition. her expressive semi operatic delivery of this song along with the precision of her expert piano playing makes this performance a timeless treasure. The haunting, reminiscent tone of her voice combined with the emotional buildup towards the end is so powerful.
