Is Booze Making Christina Aguilera Fat?

According to PerezHilton.com, a publicist for Aguilera claims the singer has tried everything from a personal trainer to hypnotism in an effort to take off some weight, but nothing has been successful.
Unless there is an underlying medical condition that no one is aware of, that really only leaves two ways she could be putting on the weight--drinking too much or overeating.
Just a couple of weeks ago there was a news report about Christina falling down as she left a bar. Boyfriend Matt Rutler helped her up and made some sort of excuse for her--but that certainly wasn't the first time that has happened.
Christina Aguilera is creating her own bad history by drinking in excess, and now it's showing it's effects on her body, too.
It's obvious that Christina has tried camouflaging her weight gain throughout the past year, but given the skimpy costumes she enjoys wearing while performing, there's not a lot of fabric in use to hide some of her trouble spots. And in addition to the weight gain, she hasn't appeared all that put together in recent appearances either.
Put bluntly, Christina Aguilera is showing a lot of the signs someone shows when they are drinking excessively on a regular basis.
One would think that her first and foremost concern would be that of her son. And then, of course, there's her career. How long will it be before the drinking shows an impact there as well?
Do you think Christina Aguilera has a drinking problem? Do you think the booze is making her fat? Unless she's sitting around eating garbage twelve hours a day--it really seems far more likely that the alcohol's the culprit.
Hopefully she gets some help with that before her whole world falls apart.
