We just had a huge ass debate about this in class and I have to get your opinions. What’s more valuable, street smarts or book smarts?
I’m sneaking on at school to ask this.
Hmm. Lemme start it off. I always thought book smarts was more important because anybody who's gotten anywhere in life has been book smart. Plus if you're book smart, then you're already aware of things around you so you're also a little street smart.
Book Smarts are tons more important Street Smarts.
**** Street Smarts, that's just what stupid people say they have when they feel inadequate. Street Smarts are basic: don't cross the street when the light's green, don't go into a dark alley alone, don't go into a stranger's car — **** you learned in Kindergarten. Generally, everyone has the same set of street smarts, book smarts is what separates us. That, and attractiveness.
Especially in these days. People are graduating college and getting into jobs they are overqualified for because that's the job market. Yes, ideally, book smarts should allow you to be successful but that's not necessarily the case. At least if you're street smart, you can make it on your own through instinct alone, and aren't $100K more in debt.
It's up in tha air with this one. Of course everyone loves a book smart person, but there are some people with street smarts that'll show u **** even tha books couldn't tell u. Some street smart people are very advanced when it comes to business and money in tha most legit ways you couldn't even believe
