Most of the people who stan for "rappers" on this forum stan for the likes of Nicki Minaj and Lil Wayne.

I stan for all 4 of these artists.

Not so much Wayne as the others though...

They aren't as messy as us, pop girls stans. (i'm talking about ATRL only).

I can easily understand why people would stan for Kanye or Jay-z though, their lyrics are great. MBDTF deserved the 5 mic rating it got.

I've never seen anyone actually stan for a rapper, just say they like some of their stuff.

This is a pop forum, if people want to stan for rap they don't come here.

I don't really stan for any artists but the closest I do to stanning would be for Drake...#2 would be rih. I get the best of both worlds (the sane and the insane...no shade intended cuz I love it) on ATRL

That's because there are only a few of them on this board, so they don't clash. AllHipHop is the place to be if you want to see rap stans battle.

I stan for mos def and lil kim and I've made that clear with my avatars and posts......

I don't see what relevance them being a Mariah stan and feeling Eminem is overrated has to do with anything as that drama is between Em and Mariah and has nothing to do with music.

But on the topic at hand, J. Cole is one of my faves and I usually try to support him whenever he comes up in a thread, or whatever. But I stan for a lot of people so I have a couple of other options too. I like a lot of other rappers too, but then this sig would be way too long.

In my opinion his music stopped getting good after 2005.

Mos Def is a ****ing poet. I love him. Of course I love my bitch Kim too... I don't care if the majority of this forum hate her (because of Nicki) I'll keep stanning.
