Beyonce Knowles has backed the Irish teenager to win the ITV1 show but we get the feeling she’s just showing support for her Destiny's Child bandmate, Kelly Rowland.
The 30-year-old singer is convinced one of the girls will win this year's contest.
And although we kind of agree that that’s the strongest category – well she has to say that doesn’t she?
The pregnant singer told this week’s new! magazine that girl group Rhythmix are very current and the guys all have good voices, but she sees the winner coming from Kelly’s group.
Making a seriously good point, she added: "It's the public voting for it, and you can’t second guess who the public might like. These shows are as much about personality and winning over the public as they are performance and vocals.
Janet is very sweet, I can see the public becoming very endeared towards her and picking up the phone."
Bey is also predicting big things from Misha B.
She continued: “There is something very special about Misha and from what I have heard from Kelly she is just going to get better and better."
Beyonce probably just found out the names of Kelly's acts and picked one name out of a hat. She don't care
