this is my second fav album i think its so fresh and i think alot has happened with this era like she got married,she did good promo and a great dvds also we got great videos and bey also got personal with her fans as well as meeting the real bey and sasha so let's beganAND also got ICONIC VIDEOS AND SINGLESand AMAZING specials

Great era. I didn't like Single Ladies the first time I heard it. I knew it was coming out that day in late 08'. It was after school and I got locked out of my house , so I had to stay at my neighbors until my mom got home, and she gave me a radio, so I heard it on there for the first time. I thought it sounded like Get Me Bodied at first.

But the song became so iconic.

A very dull, try-hard, watered-down album which was such a huge drop from B'Day. I also hated her entire image/persona this era, it was so fake and put on.

I kinda have to agree with for lovers a little bit. Beyonce has such a powerful vocals, and it was a step down to hear her doing that soft, whisper kind of Pop ballads. We Black folks, we need some THUMP.

Smash Into You

It was just 3 years ago.

But the album did make truly establish her world stardom.

Looooooooooooooved that album, piss that Radio wasn't a single could've pushed the album to 8 million but the 7 million it sold is great. It was a great ERA. But Remove Ego and Video Phone. I hope Beyonce makes another World sounding album like this

I never understood the hate for Ego. The remix was an Urban masterpiece.
