I don't get all the melodrama here. It's actually a good tactic. Maybe most of you don't realise, but this Joe Jonas/Jay Sean tour has basically been a cover for a radio promo tour, and she has been doing a lot of promo. She's basically a new artist again and really needed to get her name out before she sent it to adds or it would have been, well, a Disaster. Hopefully around that time she will also premiere the video and support it with a couple of TV appearances/performances and we'll see what happens.
The only issue is with why they needed to release the song so early. Maybe they thought it was about to leak? IDK. But y'all are being melodramatic.
I also DKW people are convinced that the label isn't interested in her. Promo campaigns for her past two albums have always been good, and all of her label issues in the past have been due to the fact that they have been TOO interested in her. Blackground left her tethered to her contract and refused to part ways with her even when they were going belly-up, and Interscope only teamed up with them because of JoJo. They've got people like Ron Fair working with her and have brought in some of the top producers.
If her labels didn't care and had dropped her 4 years ago, giving her the chance to find a different home, she would probably be in a better position than she is in now.

The album wasn't "pushed" back. It never had a date.
