Shakira is a WAG no longer! The sultry Colombian singer has just dumped her footballer boyfriend, FC Barcelona star Gerard Pique.
According to several sources in the Spanish press, Gerard Pique had some trouble keeping it in his pants during his girlfriend's absences from Spain, and he cheated on her with a younger woman. The Rabiosa girl isn't the type to put up with that sort of treatment and kicked him to the curb.

She and Gerard Pique have been dating for six months and quickly became "the most obnoxious couple in football," according to Spanish gossip sites. They were constantly seen kissing and cuddling and were attached at the hip during the summer. Just this week there were reports of Pique's family buying Shakira her own box at the Camp Nou (where boyfriend Gerard plays with Barcelona). As if she couldn't afford her own private box!
Being cheated on with a younger woman couldn't have been the most reassuring thing in the world to Shakira--she's significantly older than Pique (34 to Gerard's 24). Her touring schedule could have made the relationship difficult as well--it's hard to stay at home and babysit your boyfriend when you're a world-famous musician with a career to handle.
Good for her for dropping Pique. She's far too dignified to sit around and be made a fool of, no matter how rich and handsome the man making a fool of her is.
