The song made its world premiere this morning on On Air with Ryan Seacrest. So how exactly did the two meet? Joe told Seacrest, "I remember walking up to him [at the VMAs 3 years ago] and saying, 'Hello Mr. Lil' Wayne, I'm Joe Jonas,' and he's like 'JONASSSSS!!!' Ever since then I told him that I wanted to work together someday if it makes sense, and then this project came along."
He concludes, "He made this remix, and he killed it. It's a dream come true for me."
The song hits iTunes tomorrow and 'Fastlife' is in stores October 11.
I'm definitely liking it a little better with Wayne on the track. With just Joe it seemed a little lackluster (even though I love Joe!). I'm still not sure how it'll perform as a single, though. It has the club beat but it's a little bit of a slower song.
It's nice, I suppose. "SNM" is better song, though both are a bit lackluster.
