I was thinking, really, this is on the biggest of them all. Every Christmas is reigns supreme, it's practically a carol, universally known & loved. I mean what song comes close to it's timeless longevity.
It's not a classic though, it hasn't yet stood the test of time.
It will be though. Almost 5 years later and people are still covering it on their album. That's subjectable too just look at the songs impact. Do you really see any BIG songs with great cultural impact forgotten? I think not. Some songs are just too big to be forgetten. (Single Ladies for example)

It still doesn't mean it's a classic yet and I'm sure the board will agree. Give it 12 years.
